Job Summary:
Appliance Warehouse UK are a fast growing online retailer based in Altrincham, one of the UK’s leading brands in Heaters, Dehumidifiers, Air Conditioning and Radiators. We provide our customers with first-class service 7-days a week.
We are recruiting a Customer Support Executive to join our busy Manchester team as we expand into the European market.
The main purpose of this role is to assist our customer support team with excellent customer service with queries regarding our products. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable focussing on customer retention as well as providing a consistent high standard of support to potential customers who enquire via email and telephone.
This role will be predominantly telephone based so an excellent telephone manner is a must as well as articulating yourself clearly. This role also requires strong written skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority within internal departments.
Main responsibilities:
To provide a superior level of customer service to both potential and existing customers of Appliance Warehouse UK
To strive to understand customer’s needs and requirements and working to exceed these wherever possible
To recognise and act upon all customer retention opportunities
To demonstrate a positive, committed, enthusiastic and flexible attitude toward to all customers and colleagues
Recognise the importance and benefits of effective team working and support colleagues where appropriate
Deal with own customers from start to finish
To meet KPI’s set by department manager
Qualifications:
GCSE grades of C or above in English and Math’s
Must be computer literate and have a good technical understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Excellent standard of written and spoken English
A basic understanding of Ecommerce would be beneficial to this role
Experience:
A conscientious, flexible and ‘can do’ working attitude
Ability to maintain a composed, professional and patient demeanour within a sometimes pressurised environment
Confidence to deal with difficult situations and to know when appropriate to seek guidance from department manager
Proven desire to update product knowledge and skill set where required
Well organised with good time management skills
Excellent team player with ability to work with minimal supervision
Ambition to excel within the role and grow professionally with the company
Proven drive / enthusiasm for delivering the highest level of customer service
A competent understanding of Customer Retention
