Air Conditioning Centre are the UK importers of Toshiba powered Midea easy install air conditioning systems. Midea were established in 1968 and, with global sales revenue exceeding $22 billion USD in 2011, are one of the largest manufacturers of air conditioning and HVAC equipment in the world.
Midea have manufacturing plants in China, South America, South East Asia, Africa and Europe and employ over 150,000 people worldwide.
In June 2004 Midea formed four joint ventures with Toshiba Corp. of Japan. The Toshiba-Midea ventures make air-conditioners for domestic and commercial use. GMCC is a joint venture between Midea and Toshiba-Carrier that develops compressors for the application of air-conditioning and heat pumps. This combined effort features one of the largest operations of air conditioning compressors in the world.
